From the moment I landed, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the incredible Buddle team. Even though I’ve worked with some of my colleagues remotely for four years, meeting them face to face was an entirely different experience. Thanks to our strong implementation of best remote working practices, being together felt so natural. Since Day One of starting Buddle, we have aimed to build a culture that offers our employees the flexibility to work from home, have a stable income, and feel valued as an essential part of our crew. My weekend away with our remarkable group assures me that we are successfully achieving our goal!

Our getaway was planned as a purely social event, and while we had envisioned a sunny beach weekend, Mother Nature had a different idea and poured rain on us throughout the trip. However, we didn’t let it dampen our spirits and we embraced the unexpected theme of a "wet and wild" adventure. We indulged in a night of karaoke, unleashing our inner divas and rocked the stage. Let me tell you, karaoke hits differently in the Philippines compared to Australia—the singing prowess on display was on a whole new level! I made a mental note to take some lessons before my next visit.

Teamwork, Karaoke, and Recognition: Celebrating Buddle's Wins

Our beachside team-building activities brought out everyone’s competitive side. Laughter echoed through the air as we bonded over ridiculous challenges. During our special Socials night, we came together to celebrate all the wins, big and small, from the past year. We took the time to recognize our Remote Professionals (RPs) who were nominated by clients, colleagues, and the management team for their outstanding contributions. It was a night filled with heartfelt appreciation and recognition.
